I visited Underwater World Pattaya expecting a memorable aquarium experience, but unfortunately, I found it disappointing and not worth the admission fee.

Compared to many other aquariums I have visited, the variety and number of marine species on display were quite limited. While the facility itself is reasonably maintained, there was nothing particularly unique or impressive that justified the ticket price.

What was even more disappointing was that approximately 20% of the aquarium was under construction during our visit. Despite several exhibits being unavailable, visitors were still charged the full entrance fee. I believe guests should either be informed in advance or offered a discounted rate when parts of the attraction are inaccessible.

Overall, I did not feel that the experience provided good value for money. Unless significant improvements are made and all exhibits are fully operational, I would not recommend it to travellers looking for a classy aquarium experience.

Limited Exhibits and Full Price During Renovations

Was excited to visit this the aquarium while we were in pattaya.  Ended up very disappointed.   Was not worth 800 baht.   We walked the place took all 15 mins.  The whole back section was closed due to construction.   With it be under construction the place should have been half price.   
Live and learn not worth the hype.

Somewhat disappointed

I love anything underwater. But this place is sad and in need of attention.  For the price you charge, I feel you could keep things clean. Some of the enclosures like the geckos are so small. These are creatures that need to move and they have nowhere to go. The cantina tables were filthy and the gift store could make more of an effort with the items it sells. It looked like amusement park offerings. Way too much money that is not being put back into maintenance .

Disappointed

This is a very interesting place many different reptiles and different types of fish. Well worth the stop. We enjoyed the time we spent there. We didn’t take a tour so we were able to just walk freely and take our time and enjoy everything that was to see.

A must see in Pattaya

Good value for money.... but would be lot better if they put some big sharks too just old that in Shanghai.... I was expecting some big sharks too

A little bit out dated but overall great for the kids. Could do with some open touch and feel tanks and some more lighting. some more food on the menu at the canteen would also benefit.
